North Metro Music Studios is a music education destination in the Tampa, Florida area, offering private instruction with an experienced, encouraging approach to help students progress quickly and confidently. Led by Dan Polizzi, the studio owner and guitar teacher, North Metro Music Studios serves students in the greater Tampa community and provides lessons across a wide range of instruments and skill levels, from beginning to advanced. With music degrees among the teaching staff and Dan’s more than 20 years of guitar experience plus over a dozen years of teaching experience, students receive structured guidance that’s straightforward and easy to follow. Lesson times are offered in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions, with progress built through a variety of styles including acoustic electric, fingerpicking, blues, rock, folk, classical, Celtic finger style, singer-songwriter, and more. The studio also supports electric guitar and a range of additional instruments, including bass guitar, drums and percussion, piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, banjo, mandolin, mandola, and ukulele. A standout part of the studio culture is its focus on enjoyment and performance; Dan has held a student recital each fall since 2004, including for students who had been learning for only a couple of months.
